Jerry M. Miniard

I concentrate my practice in the areas of personal injury.

I graduated from William Jennings Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee in May 1985. I attended Salmon P. Chase College of Law, graduating in May of 1988. While in law school, I completed a judicial internship with Honorable Charles B. Lester, Judge, Kentucky Court of Appeals. I was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 1988.

I am a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Northern Kentucky Bar Association, American Justice Association and Kentucky Justice Association. I am admitted to practice in all Kentucky Courts, both state and federal, including the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Kentucky and the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

I began my own firm in 1989 and have represented thousands of injured individuals involving cases of simple negligence, premises liability, car accidents, tractor trailer accidents, ATV accidents, spectator/participant accidents, medical device recalls, and products liability. I have represented clients with simple injuries, such as a cervical sprain/strain, to the catastrophic, including, traumatic brain injury, paraplegia, quadriplegia, impairment to vision, and wrongful death.

I get the greatest satisfaction from helping those who cannot help themselves. In the practice of law, this satisfaction is achieved by helping a severely injured person obtain the resources that are necessary to give them a quality of life that they would not otherwise have without my representation. In life, this satisfaction flows from volunteering to help feed the homeless, participating in the annual Kentucky Point in Time homeless count, and by giving back to charitable organizations, particularly those whose mission is to assist children or victims of traumatic brain injury.

I live in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky. I have three children; a daughter who attends the University of Kentucky, a daughter who attends Asbury College and a son who attends Beechwood Independent High School.
